I think it was late nine-five or maybe early nine-six when I first heard that the kid with the "poisonous paragraphs" was just about to drop his debut album. Weeks turned to months, months to years and nothing happened. Last thing I heard was that his debut album entitled "Uncontrolled Substance" was scheduled for a Febuary -99 release. Someone notify Guiness, I think we have a new world record over here. The beats to R.E.C Room has been laying in some dark dusty corner at the Wu mansion since the early 90s but it still sounds pretty fresh.
This has to be one of the very first editions or maybe a promo (but is not marked as a promo) because on the backside there is the RCA/BMG logo on it, which you can't find anymore on the following official version!! nice for hardcore diggers! |
