The dope loop of a cool sounding noise grabbed my attention as soon as the track began - it sorta sounds like someone is doing it with their mouth. The heavy bass-line and slightly up-tempo beat make this track feel like it was made specifically for the clubs, which may not appeal to some heads (like me). While the rhymes are nothing we haven't heard before and the chorus is wack (talking bout clubs and thugs), there are the occasional dope lines like "if you're paraplegic, I'll make you get up and dance again." I don't think this 12" is gonna get Shabaam any new fans, but I recommend you give it a listen just to hear that looped sound. |
