Blueprint is no stranger to the hip-hop world, afterall he is one half of the mega-talented pairing Soul Position with maverick producer RJD2, who released the ever-exciting debut ‘8-Million Stories’. On that album, Blueprint provided the rhymes and RJD2 the beats. You’d be forgiven for thinking this is where Blueprint’s only talent lies, but you’d be very wrong. For ‘Chamber Music’ is a solely instrumental album, cementing the idea that Blueprint is not only a highly-regarded MC, but also equally gifted in the production side of things. In fact, previous to ‘Chamber Music’, he’s helped produce both Greenhouse Effect and Illogic on ‘Up To Speed’ and ‘Unforeseen Shadows’, respectively. In other words, he’s an all-round hip hop wizard. |
