Zhigge represented everything New York in 1992, wearing Polo, “hitting skins” and rappers that could also dance. “Rakin In The Doe” was the second 12” off their first and only album and was a go to song for just about every dj back then. In addition to the original high energy Salem Remi production they included a Reggae mix that put the “Murder She Wrote” riddim to excellent use and some bonus beats in the tradition of Show and AG’s “Party Groove.” |
