This LA production duo has jumped labels again, this time emerging on Ninja Tune. In my head, these guys sound like if Metro Area made hip-hop influenced downtempo: always integrating alternative sounds, clean minimal production, and a leftfield compositions. Throw in some Jay Dee-like drum programming and you see why all the labels are sweating these guys. |
