Kenny Dope and Keb Darge get their fingers dirty by diggin' up this Antipodean funk group. Their instrumental cover of Archie Bell & The Drell's anthemic "Tighten Up" concentrates on the breaks, the horns and the bass for a shot of pure funk right into the bloodstream. "Voodoo Lady" is a much more relaxed, slower groove of their own. |
