Busta is back with the Big Bang. One of the game's most talented rapper when it comes to pathos and intensity. And as Guru once said "It's mostly tha voice, that gets you up, It's mostly tha voice, that makes you buck, a lot of rappers got flavor, and some got skills, but if your voice ain't dope then you need to... chill". Busta got 'em all three, flavor, skills and a dope voice. But he wouldn't stop there; Busta always had a flair for being at the right place in the right time - he was on so many hits that I can't even remember them all. That carried him along his long way since the days with Leaders Of The Newschool. But it's not just hits that make the day. He got the intuition to release tracks like "touch it" whose drum effectiveness is inspiring, or "new york shit" that gets rap lovers by their heart. Plus he had his homie J Dilla who would always lace him with some beautiful beats.
For once Busta took some time to release the next (his seventh) album. And for the good, coz hardly a full lenght has been as convincing as the Big Bang. |
