Truth & Soul presents a limited pressing of the original mix of Sammy
Campbell's masterpiece "Is It Me You Really Love" and "An Earthquake's Coming".
On the A side, teenage female vocal trio, Black Velvet, sing about the
blurry lines between love and sex. A slow jam with hard-hitting drums, this track proves to be one of best and most classic tracks to come out of Jersey's bustling music scene of the the early seventies.
The B side, 'An Earthquake's Coming" is a more conventional funk track with that extra Jersey "crack" that sets it apart from the rest. The vocal harmonies, wah-wah, and screaming organ will surely turn this into a club favorite.
