Nas finally under the wings of Sean Carter? Yep, changed labels and flies under Def Jam now. Well for the better is the first guess, and you're damn right. Not sure if this has anything to do with Def Jam, but somebody or something made him chose some better beats this time around. Lyric-wise i wouldn't front with our project kid, and he's not even topping Kanye on arrogance and overridden self-esteem level (well who could actually? Sa-Ra?), but really, Nas, when do you stop chosing those lame string beats? That shit ain't got soul, nor bounces in the club nor anything, it's just lame or maybe cool for those who like dramatic celtic music - go listen classic then! This is HipHop!..
anyway
i guess this album is at least as good as Jay-Z's latest, so what?!
