Rightly regarded as something of a �lost classic�, Warfield�s debut album was originally released in 1993 and holds it�s own alongside �golden era� works such as �Da La Soul Is Dead� and �Bizzare Ride II The Pharcyde�. In fact much of the album was produced by Prince Paul, and shows much of the same off-the-wall, creative use of samples that was the musical background for De La, Stetsasonic and other Prince Paul produced classics, while the overall jazzy, slightly psychadelic feel of the album brings to mind an earlyTribe Called Quest sound. Never before released on double vinyl, this is not-to-be-missed second time around! |
