This album compiles Boris Gardiner's two first solo albums, "Soulful Experience" and “What's Happening?" (both 1970). Gardiner added a SOULFUL feeling to Jamaican reggae since co-leading The Upsetters with Lee 'Scratch', Perry. Reputed Studio 1 session bass player and singer, nowadays Gardiner is also a producer for the studio. A beautiful, enjoyable blend of reggae and soul music. |
