Steve Cantrill aka ‘Moss’ is a producer from Cornwall, England who creates sunshine sounds in his garden shed studio under the name Daytoner. Daytoner fuses live instrumentation with samples in his own unique manner chopping Latin, Soul, and Breaks into the mix. For ‘On My Own’, the vocal talents of Newquay based singer-songwriter, Jane Kennaway were employed to smoothly deliver Daytoner’s new lyrics, written especially to fit this classic Latin groove.Having previously released on Wack Records and Club Tikka/Muto records, this 12" vinyl / Digital release is his debut on Wass Records. The On My Own vinyl and digital release comes packed with tight remixers from DJ Andy Taylor, Renegades of Jazz and Mr Bird. Released on 12" Vinyl and Digital on 16.07.2012. Original version of On My Own is taken from Daytoner's forth coming Debut album Sunburst Radio which is due for release summer 2012 on Wass Records.
