The Captain is the dance-orientated sideproject by Italian Dj, musician and producer Fab Samperi. Initially breaking the scene through his wild remixes and mashups, The Captain is now a well established name in the Funky Breaks and Ghetto Funk scene. Many of his tracks have been gaining support from the likes of Freddy Fresh, Daddy G (Massive Attack), Ursula 1000, Fort Knox Five, Skeewiff, Smoove, Stickybuds and Featurecast to name but a few. Picking up inspiration from the golden decades of classic rhythm & blues, soul, latin, hip-hop, rock-n-roll (as well as from the most modern sounds of dance music), he crafts a very diverse and distinctive groove in his productions, which certainly gives him a unique sound signature. This brand-new 4-track EP on Ghetto Funk will hit stops the end of January.
