Little Simz' highly praised sophomore album Stillness In Wonderland gets a deluxe edition on a beautiful double LP gatefold vinyl and CD digipak. It comes packed with seven bonus tracks, including guest features from Bibi Bourelly, Syd (The Internet), Chronixx, Badbadnotgood, Chip, Ghetts and SiR. The sequel to 2015's A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons, which was named as one of the albums of the year by Entertainment Weekly, Vogue and more, sees the accomplished rapper and musician showcasing not only her skills on the mic, but behind the boards as she produces and plays instruments alongside musical contributions from some of the most exciting talents in today’s musical soundscape.
Stillness In Wonderland received strong radio support internationally, including lead single ‘Picture Perfect’ being playlisted on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra and Beats 1, Australian radio station Triple J crowned it a ‘Feature album’ and Simz was also interviewed on Ebro In The AM on Hot 97.
Little Simz has done and continues to take pride in doing things her way, leading the charge as one of the most the most exciting independent Hip Hop artists of her generation. In 2016 she was invited to join her musical idol Lauryn Hill on a North American tour as well as touring the US with rising star Anderson .paak. In 2017, her headline 'Welcome To Wonderland' North America tour included sold out shows in LA, New York, Paris, London and Sydney. Simz then went on to support Ab-Soul (Top Dawg Entertainment) on his US tour followed by a string of US tour dates with Gorillaz. She is also confirmed as the sole support act for Gorillaz European tour across 22 cities in November and December 2017.
Additionally, Little Simz has been spotlighted on global television, performing “Wings” on BBC’s Later... with Jools Holland, being interviewed on Channel 4 News, performing “Dead Body” on primetime French cultural platform Le Petit Journal, sitting down with Tavis Smiley for an interview on PBS and featuring in Apple’s #ShotOnIphone Euro 2016 advert campaign. |
