Frankly I didn't know Sun Ra was writing beautiful doo-wop music for a load of Chicagoens back in the 50s. So this came as a welcome surprise and addition to the Sun Ra oeuvre I knew. I'm no specialist when it comes to doo-wop music, but there are certainly a couple of utterly beautiful vocal harmonies sung on this LP and the other two LPs issued at the same time by Norton Records. Grab them all three if you do like sweet vocal harmony music.
