As a Native son of Detroits North-West side, Big Tone is one of the finest producer/emcee combinations the Midwest has to offer. With his latest release The Art of Ink, Big Tone takes his ecelctic taste for music, (ranging from soul to psychedelic) and creates a blend of soulful back-drops layered with hard hitting drums. A combination in which any hip hop fan cannot resist.
Tracks such as the first single “Business” and the B-side “A Song called Triumph” (featuring Blu) allow Tone to showcase both his ability to compose ear catching beats, as well as the art of delivering rugged yet soul induced lyrics, which captivates listeners from the start.
