Groove On indeed as Turntill hooks up with sparring partner Merlin once again to bring you the hybrid b-boy/disco action of the title track. Remixer Mr Konfuze is also on hand to disco things up still further while Quincy Jointz heads off in a electro-boogie breaks direction without once looking back over his shoulder. The good stuff doesn’t end there though for Turntill also hooks up with Bronzon for the deeper soul-boogie influenced b-boy breaks of Rise To The Top, this time re-buffed by Mr Konfuze (again) who gives free reign to some early 90s hip-house leanings and Zamali who embeds the drums in a wall of bass with 80s synth and afrobeat stylings. |
