Professor Shorthair teams up with France’s own Mr Boom (Mawimbi Records) for the latest installment in the NOLA Breaks series.
First up, Ernie and The Top Notes, Inc. classic song, “Dap Walk” gets just the right touch of added breaks and soulful edits from Mr Boom. A dance floor filler!
On the flip, Professor Shorthair’s remix of Skip Easterling’s “I’m Your Hoochie Koochie Man” will cast you in its funky voodoo spell. Heavy drums and tight scratches are added to inject a little Hip Hop flavor into the mystically funky remake of the Muddy Waters classic.
This 45rpm is limited to 500 copies and comes on white colored vinyl.
